Largest floating sheerleg crane for Middle East
Drydocks World has signed a deal with ZPMC for a 5,000 t floating sheerleg crane, the largest of its kind in the Middle East and Africa. Expected by 2026, this crane will enhance the company’s heavy-lifting capabilities for offshore projects, allowing it to handle up to 5,000 t loads at heights of 120 m.
The investment underscores Drydocks World's commitment to supporting large-scale projects like FPSO conversions and offshore platform installations while boosting regional economic growth and sustainability. (pb)
