Kögel Trailer welcomes Thore Bakker
Kögel Trailer, a manufacturer of semi-trailers, has appointed Thore Bakker as chief sales officer (CSO) to oversee the company’s international sales strategies and operations. With this appointment, Kögel completes its management team, which now comprises Christian Renners (CEO), Christian Spengler (CFO) and Thore Bakker (CSO).
With over 20 years' experience in the automotive industry, Bakker specialises in sales, business development and strategic planning. He began his career at Daimler, where he held various positions in the heavy goods vehicle sector. In 2013, he moved to Daimler Fleetboard, a specialist in telematics services, as head of international sales Northeast and Latin America.
Bakker then joined BPW Bergische Achsen KG, a manufacturer of running gear systems, where until now he has held the position of managing director. (cj)
