Kimmo installs Marais as CEO
Jacques Marais has been recruited as CEO of the South African packaging manufacturer Kimmo. He has a strong financial and technical background and extensive manufacturing and management experience that he gained in India, Turkey, the UK, Netherlands and South Africa.Marias has a BSc in mechanical engineering, an honour's degree in financial management and an MBA from Cranfield (UK).
With a passion for production efficiencies, Marais believes that one can use creativity and planning to simplify and standardise processes, while giving a company greater scope to manufacture more complicated yet customised products.
His experience has proved invaluable in formatting Kimmo's five-year strategy and new product product range which will soon be revealed. (mw)
