Kicking off tri-partite cooperation in Liege
Cainiao Group, Saudia Cargo, and Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), a member of the Sats Group, have launched a strategic collaboration at Cainiao’s "Liege E-Hub", currently leased by WFS, with Cainiao having invested in logistics procedures, facilities, and innovations on the site.
Since 2021, Cainiao and WFS have been working together to enhance operational quality for joint partners like Saudia Cargo. Under the agreement, key service level commitments include a three-hour e-commerce transit, BUP release within three hours from ATA, and truck handling in less than 90 minutes.
The three partners have jointly designed three temperature-controlled facilities: areas for loose 2-8°C (205 sqm), BUP 2-8°C (140 sqm), and loose 15-25°C (400 sqm), supporting the transport of perishable and pharma cargo products. The platform has also obtained BCP certification. (ah)
