KGH takes over Hermes & Richard
Switzerland was the next in line in KGH's European expansion strategy. Following KGH Customs Services' recent expansion into the UK, the company continued to strengthen its position in Europe by acquiring Hermes & Richard AG, a Swiss customs service provider serving its home market, Germany and France.
KGH has constantly grown its business in recent years by expanding its operations to more European countries, adding additional capabilities and more capacity. Expanding to Switzerland was a natural step given the country’s importance in European trade and KGH’s presence in neighbouring countries, through which a vast majority of the goods flows.
Hermes & Richard's service range extends from customs and fiscal advice to the completion of all customs formalities. The company is based in the border triangle of Switzerland, Germany and France and operates in all three countries via own offices. (mw)
