Karina Perez Perez wins ‘Young Logistics Professional of the Year’ award
The International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations and TT Club have announced that Karina Perez Perez has been awarded the title of Young Logistics Professional (YLP) for 2022. Perez Perez is the regional winner from Fiata’s Region Americas and represents the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association Ciffa.
The winner was revealed today, during the first ever full day’s programme for young logisticians at the Fiata World Congress, which offered a dedicated programme allowing young professionals to hear from experts, educators and mentors in the logistics sector. This year’s gathering in Busan (South Korea) is the association’s 59th congress.
All of the finalists showed exceptional skill and motivation during the competition, which resulted in quality work. Region Asia Pacific winner Avishkar Srivastava from India (FFFAI), Region Africa and Middle East winner Ruvimbo Gukwe from Zimbabwe (SFAAZ) and Region Europe winner Maximilian Drüschler from Germany (DSLV) stand as fine examples and as sources of inspiration for the industry.
