K Line adds another vessel
In Japan, Tadotsu Shipyard, a part of the Imabari Shipbuilding Group, has completed and delivered the 90,000 dwtT bulk carrier "Lin Miarak".
The vessel will be regularly engaged in coal transportation for the Japanese shipper Kobe Steel under a long-term consecutive voyage charter contract (CVC).
The ship was designed and built to be Tier Ⅲ compliant under regulation 13 of Marpol annex VI. By reducing the amount of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emitted into the air, the unit will also be complying with the regulations published by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO). (sh)
