Joint sales office in Hamburg
Haeger & Schmidt and its parent company Felbermayr have opened a joint sales office in Hamburg (Germany). Its main objective is to improve the quality of services for overseas freight forwarders, carriers and shippers. Haeger & Schmidt Logistics offers a large portfolio of maritime and hinterland logistics with a special focus on multimodal transports by inland barge and train to and from the sea ports of Rotterdam (the Netherlands) and Antwerp (Belgium).
“We already offer our customers a wide range of attractive logistics solutions through our existing network. With the new office in Hamburg we can ensure that our customers in northern Germany also benefit from the advantages of one-stop logistics services directly on site,” says Felix Zocher, sales manager at Haeger & Schmidt Logistics.
And Felbermayr’s sales manager Clemens Felbermayr adds: “For example, road haulage cargo coming from Austria is usually exported overseas. With the new location we can leverage synergies for transport services in the other direction, for instance to Austria, Italy, Slovenia, and also the Balkan countries."
