Joining forces to enhance rail connectivity
PSA Indonesia has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with PT Kereta Api Indonesia to jointly enhance the rail and rail-linked logistics ecosystem in Indonesia.
The MOU serves to drive and align both partners’ efforts to improve connectivity and create an efficient and sustainable multi-modal transport network in Indonesia. PSA and KAI will also conduct joint feasibility studies to develop cooperation plans and explore potential co-investment in new or existing rail-linked infrastructure in Indonesia.
This includes joint management and operations in areas such as global logistics services, railway-based container terminals, and multimodal door-to-door integrated freight transport services. (ben)
