Jettainer making use of logistics park
The GG Rhein Main logistics park in Gross-Gerau, south of Frankfurt (Germany), was completed at the beginning of the current year.
Lufthansa Cargo is to lease 20,700 sqm of hall space and 450 sqm of offices in the park for its subsidiary, Jettainer, at the end of Q1/2019. Jettainer will make long term use of the space to store and maintain aircraft loading equipment.
Over 80% of the total space in the logistics park is now let to Lufthansa Cargo, Gorilla Sports e-commerce portal and an automotive logistics service provider.
Carsten Hernig, Jettainer’s managing director, says: "The property company Four Parx is developing cutting edge facilities tailored to our individual requirements and the Groß-Gerau location is ideally located just a short distance from Frankfurt Airport." (mw)
