Javier Suárez to lead Knud E. Hansen
The maritime consultancy Knud E. Hansen from Denmark has announced a leadership change, with Javier Suárez succeeding Finn Wollesen Petersen as managing director on 1 March. The transition follows months of preparation, during which the two worked closely to ensure continuity.
Wollesen Petersen, who led the firm from 2003 onwards, will remain with Knud E. Hansen, focusing on operations in the USA. Suárez, who joined the firm in 2017, brings extensive expertise in shipbuilding with him, also from senior roles at Voith Schneider.
Under Wollesen Petersen’s leadership the corporation expanded globally and now employs over 100 staff. Javier aims to continue strengthening client relationships and focus on key sectors, including passenger shipping and offshore wind. (ah)
