Ivan de Souza joins Deugro group
Ivan Rodrigues de Souza has been recruited as corporate vice-president – sales & business development by the Germany-based Deugro group, as of 28 January 2019.
He shoulders responsibility for the global development of the group’s global mining business and will be tasked with establishing the mining business segment, resulting in a further expansion of the group’s portfolio for this industry vertical.
De Souza moved to Deugro from Geodis, where he was global segment leader – mining in a global corporate function for several years. During that time, he successfully executed major projects on six continents.
For nearly two decades, De Souza has worked in the project freight forwarding sector in challenging on-shore locations worldwide for a multitude of clients, as well as in senior management positions for Geodis, JAS Forwarding, and Kuehne + Nagel. (mw)
