Investment in hinterland networks in Poland
Contargo, a hinterland logistics network for container transport, has founded a national subsidiary in Poland. Contargo Intermodal Poland offers repositioning of empty containers, container transports per rail from Poland to other European countries and container trucking to sea ports in Poland and the terminals in Malaszewicze und Brest (Belarus).
Headquartered in Warsaw, the new branch is led by managing directors Marcin Czachorowski and Jürgen Albersmann.
Contargo runs more than 25 container terminals in Germany, France and Switzerland and several other offices in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Poland. It also operates its own shipping and rail lines. (ben)
