Investing in overland transport in Spain
DB Schenker is taking over the entire share capital of Grupo Loserco, as well as of Transportes Santos Campos, two transport companies based in Andalusia and Valencia (Spain). The acquisitions include seven centres with more than 150 employees.
The moves will see DB Schenker increase its workforce in the Iberian Peninsula to more than 2,100 professionals working in 31 locations. The takeovers will enable DB Schenker to expand its service portfolio and strengthen its position in the region, in line with its consolidation in the European industry. (ben)
