Into five years of digitalisation
MSC just inked a five-year contract with the Norwegian group Kongsberg Digital. The agreement includes delivery of Kongsberg Digitals data infrastructure service Vessel Insight and Kongsberg Digital’s vessel performance application to the entire MCS’s owned fleet, consisting of approximately 500 vessels.
"With Vessel Insight, MSC can contextualise data created by its vessels through our vessel-to-cloud infrastructure and use this to reduce emissions and optimise its entire fleet of container ships”, says Hege Skryseth, president at Kongsberg Digital. (sh)
