Intermodal routes for Chinese products
DB Schenker has been contracted to import Ledvance lighting products from China to Poland and Czechia. To transport and distribute these goods to 23 destinations in Northern, Central and Eastern Europe, the logistics specialist will rely on a combination of sea freight and overland transport.
From its own control tower, Schenker’s team will plan and organise the entire distribution process and monitor documentation, dispatch notification, invoicing, reporting and the handling of ongoing operations. Ledvance’s transports will be coordinated in DB Schenker’s green terminal in Wroclaw. (ben)
