Increasing space for e-commerce handling
In Germany, the symbolic ground-breaking ceremony gave Garbe Industrial Real Estate the go-ahead for the logistics centre that it is developing in Bodenheim (Mainz-Bingen district).
The tenant of the property, which has a total area of 14,500 sqm, is Atrikom Fulfillment, a company specialising in e-commerce and advertising materials logistics as well as dialogue marketing. The new building is scheduled for completion in Q2/2023.
Garbe Industrial Real Estate is investing around EUR 23 million in the site. With around 5.3 million sqm of rented space and a project development pipeline of around 2.2 million sqm in Germany and Europe, Garbe currently manages real estate and fund assets worth around EUR 10.3 billion (as of 30 June 2022) in total.
