Improved services on Antwerp-Catalonia line
Lineas started running traction services for its customer Hupac on the Antwerp – Catalonia (Perpignan & Barcelona El Morrot) at the beginning of this year. As of 16 September 2024, the partners will increase the frequency of the intermodal services between Belgium and Spain to up to ten roundtrips per week.
Within this cooperation, Hupac will operate and market the intermodal offering on the Antwerp-Catalonia line and Lineas, as the traction provider on this line, will be responsible for a seamless transition. The partnership creates synergies on this route that will increase quality of service and operational efficiency, the two companies said.
