IDS elects new chairman for its advisory board
Alessandro Cacciola, CEO of the Andreas Schmid Group, has been elected chairman of the advisory board of IDS Logistik, a groupage cargo network. Cacciola replaces Stefan Noerpel-Schneider, who has held the position since 2015 and who has now stepped down at the end of his statutory mandate.
Cacciola studied business administration with a focus on freight forwarding, transport and logistics and has been working continuously in logistics - in Europe and worldwide - ever since. An MBA degree in change management & leadership completes his profile.
Cacciola joined the board of the Andreas Schmid Group on 1 January 2019 and became its chairman in June 2019. He has been a member of the IDS advisory board since February 2019. (cj)
