Idealworks picks Schneider
Michael Alexander Schneider is the new CEO of Munich (Germany)-based Idealworks, which was founded in November 2020 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the BMW Group. Completing the management team, Schneider has been working with CFO Karin Korber, COO Markus Bauer and CTO Jimmy Nassif since 1 June 2021.
Idealworks specialises in the development of autonomous transport robots, their control units and fleet management software. Schneider joins from BMW AG, in corporate strategy, mergers & acquisitions and cooperations, where he drove the establishment of Idealworks with the current management team.
Over the past fourteen years, he was responsible for managing strategic projects in sales and production, as well as “(heading) up the global business development of Rolls-Royce Motorcars in UK before taking over operational responsibility for the Asia-Pacific region, based in Singapore”, as mentioned in a press release.
