Iata: three regional air cargo events in November
Iata is hosting a series of air cargo events in the Asia Pacific region in November to share the latest regulatory changes and global air cargo trends and development.
Topics will range from cargo and postal handling standards, ULD regulation, and changes to the 2023 Iata Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR).
This includes two important topics, both coming in force in 2023, that affect operations critically – the preloading advance cargo information update, particularly to the EU, which will apply to all air cargo stakeholders shipping to the EU as well as the competency based training assessment approach to dangerous goods training.
The in-person events, called Air Cargo Days, are to be conducted in Indonesia (Jakarta, 1 to 2 November 2022), the Philippines (Manila, 3 to 4 November 2022), and South Korea (Seoul, date to be announced soon). (cj)
