Hupac expands Polish network
The Swiss intermodal operator has added a new terminal to its network. The new facility is located at Hohenbudberg in Krefeld in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia and will serve as an intermodal hub for the company’s connections between Duisburg (Germany) and Poland.
As of 6 September 2021, all Poland-bound trains will be managed at this transhipment facility. The timetables of the shuttle trains between Duisburg and Gadki and Pruskow will remain unchanged, the company said. With this new terminal, Hupac now also provides gateway connections to Singen at the German-Swiss border and various destinations in north Italy. (ben)
