HPC to drive IT management in Georgia's ports
Hamburg Port Consulting (HPC) has been chosen to lead Georgia's national maritime single window (NMSW) initiative in IT management.
In partnership with Amentum, MTA Maritime Transport Agency of Georgia, and supported by the US department of state's EXBS programme, this project aims to enhance transparency in maritime transport and interagency cooperation.
The NMSW is a centralised platform for data exchange between government agencies and the shipping industry, aligning with international regulations. Georgian ports, like Batumi and Poti, are expected to gain from this development. The project is funded by EXBS and managed by Icitap. (pb)
