Honours for most sustainable carrier
Stobart in UK has won the Transporeon award – most sustainable carrier – multimodal award for 2022 for its outstanding customer commitment, the highest transparency and lowest carbon footprint in the performance of its transport services. Over 130,000 carriers worldwide were in consideration for this major global award.
Initially formed in 1970 by founder Edward Stobart, the UK forwarder is now part of the Culina Gruop and operates over 2,000 vehicles, around 3,500 trailers as well as 43 offices in UK.
Transporeon powers the largest global freight network of 1,300 industrial shippers, 100 large retailers and more than 145,000 carriers and logistic service providers. The group carries out 120,000 transports per day on its cloud-based platform. (ben)
