Hövelmann continues digitalisation programme
Hövelmann Logistik, which is headquartered in Rees in the Lower Rhine region in Germany, has now ordered 150 next-generation CarCubes from Trimble Transport & Logistics.
The on-board computers are to replace the existing Trimble devices. All in all, the specialist for pallet transports has a fleet of 215 vehicles, all of which are to be successively refurbished.
With the new on-board computers, Hövelmann Logistik can process even more data more quickly and optimise more work flows. The devices built into the trucks are equipped with high-resolution screens, upgraded 3D tuck navigation and 4G telephony. (ben)
