HK’s ‘Airport City’ developing
Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) is advancing its ‘Airport City’ development, launching the new ‘Skytopia’ brand to attract global business. The initiative aims to enhance Hong Kong’s role as a key logistics and aviation hub.
The financial secretary’s budget also highlighted deeper collaboration between Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) and Zhuhai airport, as well as the expansion of the ‘HKIA Dongguan Logistics Park’, reinforcing Hong Kong’s strategic position in the Greater Bay Area.
Additionally, AAHK is exploring opportunities to develop Asia’s first aircraft parts processing and trading centre. The Hong Kong International Aviation Academy will expand training for C919 aircraft, supporting its global market entry. (ah)
