Heppner ventures into uncharted terrain


The French Groupe Heppner, which widened its scope with acquisitions in Germany and the Netherlands in recent years, has now introduced an internal innovation. The group includes its company’s purpose in its articles of association after nine months of collaborative effort that has elicited more than 1,200 contributions.

 

These were the result of a consultation with the group's internal and external stakeholders (employees, customers, partners, suppliers and shareholders). The main features are a decentralised management model built on "intrapreneurs", a flexible, pliable approach and a strong ability to adapt to customers' needs and demands, the continuity over time through intergenerational transmission and geographical and relational proximity.
