Heppner clinches deal in Benelux
Heppner Group is expanding in Benelux with the acquisition of a Dutch company specialising in transport flows between the Netherlands and Spain. Segers International Transport will be integrated into the logistics group after having operated in the sector for 40 years.
The Dutch business primarily focuses on shipping high-value goods between its home country and Spain, thus establishing strong links between the two countries.
Heppner will gain access to the company’s 14,000 sqm hub located between Rotterdam and Antwerp and take over 30 employees with industry experience. Apart from Benelux and Spain, Heppner’s network of hubs comprises 80 locations in France, 14 in Germany, and more in Switzerland, the UK and Senegal. (mk)
