Hellmann appoints Timo Schamber
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has appointed Timo Schamber as its new global airfreight director CEP, effective 1 February 2023. With the creation of this new position, the company is responding to increasing demand in the global airfreight market and the rapid development of the cross-border e-commerce business.
Schamber was most recently managing director at Lufthansa’s subsidiary Heyworld. With over 15 years of professional experience, he brings expertise both in logistics and e-commerce.
In his career to date, Schamber has been involved in the launch of various start-ups, with a particular focus on the development and marketing of new products, the acquisition and retention of international e-commerce customers, and the design and implementation of organisational structures and processes.
