GXO and OBI deepen partnership
GXO and OBI are celebrating five years of collaboration by further extending their partnership to cover e-commerce and returns management. GXO has been supporting the European DIY brand since 2019, initially by delivering goods to retail stores in Poland.
These services are based on the logistics provider’s 50,000 sqm warehouse in Natolin, Łódź, which is equipped with a mobile picking system and is running a pilot project for efficient container unloading.
Following the five-year anniversary, OBI and GXO will now look to offer their Polish customers an enlarged portfolio of e-commerce, order management, delivery and returns services, which will enable OBI to further solidify its foothold in the country.
GXO currently operates a network of big and bulky goods handling at 43 sites in nine countries in Europe, supporting home & DIY companies with fulfilment and returns. (mk)
