GVZ Augsburg: New logistic hall inaugurated
GVZ Augsburg is a major and very efficient freight transport centre in Germany and a busy regional hub for national and international cargo services. At a celebratory opening event, DB Schenker recently presented a new state-of-the-art logistics hall, with a total storage area of 38,000 sqm.
In Augsburg, the logistics service provider serves internationally active companies. DB Schenker is one of the logistics services providers that have made a great contribution to the development of this area since the opening of the GVZ around ten years ago.
Including the new warehouse recently put into operation, DB Schenker now has a commercial space for contract logistics covering 78,000 sqm. (ben)
