Guillen leaves Tesla
Engineer Jérôme Guillen, who held high-ranking positions at Tesla for more than ten years, left tech billionaire Elon Musk's U.S. electric company on 3 June 2021. The former Daimler executive had joined Tesla in 2010 and most recently was responsible for the heavy truck business, in which Musk has high hopes. Before that, Guillen headed Tesla's entire automotive division.
Prior to joining Daimler, Guillen spent five years as general manager, new product development at Freightliner and three years at management consultancy McKinsey. It is not yet known where Guillen will be going next. (amh)
