Gruber Logistics targets Turkey
Rifat Cicek was appointed as the new branch director of Gruber Logistics in Turkey at the beginning of H2/2024. With his expertise, his task will be to spearhead the logistics service provider's corporate strategy in the region. The aim is to manage more of the company’s business directly from the Turkish branch and systematically optimise the work processes in its two offices.
Gruber Logistics, which is headquartered in South Tyrol, expanded into the Turkish market at the beginning of 2023 in response to the increasing strategic importance of Turkey and the entire Mediterranean region for international trade.
Rifat Cicek's main tasks include the further development of the company in Turkey, focusing on sales growth, the expansion of the team and the opening of further branches beyond Istanbul and Izmir. (cj)
