Carousel, headquartered in UK, recently acquired Dublin-based Alltrans, which has boosted its Ireland network. The companies have successfully integrated their IT and operational systems and are now investing in additional sites at Dublin airport in Ireland.
Meanwhile, Carousel is continuing its growth strategy and augmenting its handling and customs clearance services for customers in mainland Europe and Ireland. In one of these expansion projects, Danx Carousel signed a joint venture with Polish logistics specialist ILS in March 2023 to improve its time-critical and in-night logistics solutions in Eastern Europe.
Carousel provides end-to-end solutions for aftermarket, spare parts, returns management, medical logistics, agricultural, construction, and the automotive sectors.
The Irish forwarder Alltrans operates primarily in Dublin and Cork, offers distribution services, and focuses on the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
ILS is a logistics service provider for the automotive segment, the chemical industry and FMCG (fast moving consumer goods, such as foodstuffs or cleaning products). (ben)
