Groupe Hautier's next takeover
The expansion continues. After a first phase of takeovers during 2010-2011, the French Groupe Hautier snapped up the French firms Resano, Gervais and Monteau transport over the past three years.
Now, the group, founded in 1914 on the port of La Rochelle, is acquiring another logistics company, Transports Gazeau & Brelet. Product of a merger in 2013, Brelet & Gazeau operates in the food retail, specialised distribution and manufacturing sectors. (sh)
