Goddess Hammonia hears call of Scandinavian princes
The Scandinavian investors Ness Risan and Partners (Norway), and the former owners of the Containerships Group (Finland), have taken acquired all the shares of the Hammonia shipping company. The Ernst Russ Group and the company, Peter Döhle Schiffahrts KG, have sold their assets.
Hammonia, a technical manager of bulkers, container and MPP ships, was founded by Peter Döhle and the Ernst Russ Group in 2003. The limited partnership capital was 31.37%. Peter Döhle remain with Hammonia as a service provider in the chartering, crewing and insurance fields. The transaction is subject to antitrust authorities’ approval. (kd)
