GLX Global Logistics expands warehouse
GLX Global Logistics Services has now taken over the completed extension of its warehouse in Grünheide, Brandenburg, Germany. Real estate developer Panattoni added 4,300 sqm of usable area, of which 4,188 sqm are warehousing space, to the existing 17,000 sqm facilities. The project also included 30 new outdoor parking spaces.
Panattoni was awarded the building contract by the owner PGIM Real Estate, the real estate investment arm of the USD 1.5 trillion global investment manager PGIM. The construction of the new building, which was designed to specifications of the existing facility, began at the end of January 2021.
Headquartered in Berlin, tenant GLX Global Logistics employs 200 people at 13 locations in Germany. (sh)
