Geodis growing near Paris
Geodis has opened a 23,000 sqm distribution and express hub, bringing its network in the Île-de-France region to three centres. The new facility complements its sites in Bonneuil-en-France and Gennevilliers, adding hall space of 16,000 sqm and a 5,000 sqm storage cell to the south of Paris.
The facility, located in the town of Brie-Comte-Robert, has 200 docking doors, 15 parking spaces for heavy goods vehicles and twelve for tractors, and is equipped for local logistics needs. It also connects to highways and is 30 minutes from Orly airport and 40 minutes from Paris.
The hub has a rooftop PV plant of 3,800 panels and meets the building standards ‘very good’ (‘Breeam’) and ‘excellent’ (‘BiodiverCity’). (mk)
