Generation change at L&S MU
Michael Lott is taking his well-deserved retirement after more than 46 years of service at Lampe & Schwartze Marine Underwriting (L&S MU) on 28 February 2022.
Louis Ravens will take over Lott's duties as head of marine hull. Louis Ravens joined L&S MU in 2010 as an assistant underwriter, previously completing his bachelor of arts in "Shipping and Chartering" at the University of Applied Sciences Bremen. In 2018, he was appointed as deputy head of marine hull, and has since shared the responsibility for the marine hull divisions with Lott.
At the same time, Claudia Berkhout will assume the position as deputy head of Marine Hull on 1 March 2022 and three new colleagues will join the hull department: Angela Stemmler, Shorai Sandra Jafett and Philipp Pohlmann. (cj)
