General cargo cooperation gains two new members
In Germany, Emons Spedition in Duisburg and Xpress Logistik in the Bielefeld area have joined VTL, an association of small and medium-sized forwarding companies.
Emons provides freight transport services by ship, rail, and truck. The freight forwarder has been handling transports to and from the regional hub in Gelsenkirchen since March 2023, and as of today (2.5.2023) it will also serve the central hub in Fulda.
Xpress Logistik, a specialist for time-critical deliveries, was founded in 2008 and is also starting its partnership with VTL network with immediate effect. The company is planning to expand its service portfolio and its digital infrastructure in the coming years. (ben)
