GCL loves cars
Global Critical Logistics (GCL), which specialises in events & sports logistics, recently acquired the UK-based Classic Automotive Relocation Services (Cars), a company that was founded in 1989 to organise shipments of historic, rare, and prestigious vehicles.
Cars’ coverage of the European, US and Middle Eastern markets solidifies GCL’s position as a global freight forwarder for the transport of high-value automobiles, complementing GCL’s existing brand Cosdel International Transportation. Cars will continue to operate under its own brand and join the GCL group of companies.
In 2022, GCL purchased Spain-based forwarder Asesores de Flete (ADF) and formed a partnership with SAL Saudi Logistics Services to further expand into Saudi Arabia and Middle Eastern markets. It has also opened new offices in Singapore and Miami. (sh)
