GAC opens fresh chapter in New Zealand ports
GAC Group, a provider of shipping, logistics, and marine services, is set to acquire Quadrant Pacific's ship agency business in New Zealand. The acquisition will enable GAC New Zealand to directly manage ship agency services in all ports in the country, thus enhancing its service capabilities.
Scott Henderson, managing director for GAC Australia and GAC New Zealand was enthusiastic about integrating Quadrant Pacific’s expertise into the companies’ operations.
Alistair Skingley, director of Quadrant Pacific, noted that this move allows Quadrant Pacific to focus on its core areas while ensuring customer continuity through GAC’s extensive network. The acquisition is set to be finalised by 1 July 2024, with Quadrant Pacific's agency staff to join GAC New Zealand. (pb)
