Funding for fuel cell drives
Companies in Germany may submit applications for the funding of fuel cell technology projects in intralogistics until 20 November 2020, the industry network Clean Intralogistics Net (CIN) said.
The funding is intended for forklift trucks with fuel cell drives and an infrastructure for hydrogen refuelling from a minimum required amount of 3 kg hydrogen per hour of operation of the entire fleet or from a minimum number of ten forklift trucks.
Companies that purchase a hydrogen powered forklift truck for EUR 75.000, instead of a conventional vehicle for EUR 40,000, may count on a 40% funding rate or EUR 14,000 per forklift truck to help offset the additional investment costs of EUR 35,000, CIN added. (ben)
