Funding for fleet transformation in France
French forwarders can benefit from financial support by the government when they acquire e-trucks. The French Agency for Ecologica Transision (Ademe), which manages the tender, has opened a call for tenders providing EUR 60 million for 2023 to help finance investments in electric heavy-duty vehicles and the charging infrastructure. The call will end on 29 September 2023.
The aim is to support the deployment of e-trucks and to further decarbonise the road freight transport in France. Applicants will receive funding for at least 65% of the cost-gap between electric and conventional trucks. Ademe will broadcast a webinar on 24 April at 14.00 h to answer questions about the procedures. (ben)
