Funding for emission-free logistics
Twelve companies from all over Germany will receive funding from the Federal office for goods transport for the purchase of climate-friendly commercial vehicles. The subsidies arise from more than 450 applications submitted within the framework of a programme to promote alternative, climate-friendly commercial vehicles and infrastructure.
All in all, the Federal office approved 320 projects worth about EUR 200 million, including about 2,000 battery, fuel cell and hybrid electric commercial vehicles, 153 charging infrastructure projects and applications for feasibility studies. EUR 1.6 billion will be made available by 2024 to promote the purchase of climate-friendly commercial vehicles and an additional EUR 7 billion by 2025 for refuelling and charging infrastructure. (ben)
