From UPS to Cretschmar Cargo Süd
Andre Petri is the new head of corporate sales at Cretschmar Cargo Süd (CCS), a freight forwarder based in Düsseldorf, Germany. Petri’s previous position was senior account manager at United Parcel Service (UPS) Germany, where he was responsible for key account management and the development of strategic concepts.
At the Düsseldorf-based freight forwarder, the sports science graduate, who moved from the sports event scene to the logistics industry six years ago, will, among other things, expand the cooperation with the general cargo cooperation System Alliance Europe (SAE), of which Cretschmar Cargo Süd is a founding member. CCS handles around 200,000 shipments with a transport volume of around 1 million t per year. (cj)
