From Singapore to Astana
Singapore Post (SingPost) and Kazakhstan’s national postal operator announced their new cooperation agreement, involving e-commerce, logistics and technological ventures, last week.
Qazpost will be looking to boost trade and logistics routes between its native Kazakhstan and Singapore. The companies will share expertise on the development of e-commerce and logistics in their respective countries, but also aim to explore new machinery and equipment, such as SingPost’s drop-off systems.
By combining SingPost’s technological innovations with Qazpost’s regional presence, the companies can promote trade and growth. “Through our collaboration, we hope to enhance our e-commerce network and unlock new opportunities for both countries," says Li Yu, CEO, international, SingPost.
