From Siemens to Daimler Truck
Eva Scherer will join Daimler Truck Holding’s supervisory board on 1 April 2024. Her current position is executive vice president and global head of investor relations at Siemens.
Scherer started her professional career in 2003 as a trainee at Siemens, and then held various management positions in the company’s purchasing and finance & controlling departments in Germany and Switzerland.
At the end of 2011, Scherer moved to Singapore as vice president and head of finance solutions & services Asia Pacific/Middle East and head of finance building technologies Asean.
In early 2017, Scherer returned to Germany and joined the executive management team of Siemens Mobility as senior vice president and head of finance & performance management. In July 2020, she was appointed CFO for the rail infrastructure and mobility software business units. (cj)
