From Hilti to TST
Joachim Willems, who was managing director of Hilti Deutschland Logistik for eleven years, has joined the management team at TST. The business economist and software developer took charge of the warehousing division at the Worms (Germany)-based logistics company on 1 June 2022.
Willems, who is from the German federal state of Saarland, will also take on the role of managing director of the Hamburg-based TST subsidiary Logisticus, which specialises in the development of software solutions for the logistics industry. Willems comes to the TST Group after 26 years and various career positions at the Liechtenstein tool manufacturer Hilti.
With 76 logistics locations in Germany, Europe and USA, a turnover of more than EUR 400 million and 3,000 employees, the logistics company is one of the major family-run logistics service providers in Germany. (cj)
