From a network to an innovation community
The German general cargo cooperation System Alliance is repositioning itself as a brand and as a network. On 1 January 2023 it will change its name to NG.network. The reorientation aims to expand the central network and goods management capacities, as well as strategically develop the network.
To this end, the digitalisation of cooperation with its partner companies will consistently be advanced. The background for the realignment includes experiences during the outbreak of Covid-19. The general cargo business remains the core business, however.
During the first lockdowns, general cargo traffic in particular experienced extreme growth, which brought all market participants to the limits of their logistics capacities. (ben)
